The traveling 14 have finished their bus trek to Kumasi, and have checked in to their hotel, The Royal Basin Hotel and Resort. This more-basic-than-the-name-makes-it-sound hotel will be homebase for most of the stay. Settling in and enjoying dinner together tonight, the team heads out tomorrow for their first visits to people touched by The Penny Project. Not to worry moms and dads, the kids have arrived just fine!
One note: it is unlikely that any of the group will be checking the blog for messages you post until after their return. Internet access is simply too limited. Their postings are actually being sent back here to be placed on the blog for them. Keep recording your thoughts and prayers. They will be no less meaningful upon return.
